TROUBLE SHOOTING
Check the Lead Wire:
- Inspect the lead wire for any signs of damage.
- Make sure that the lead wire is fully connected to the device.
- Test the lead wire to make sure it conducts.
- Start a treatment and touch the two pins at the end of the lead wire together and hold for 10 to 15 seconds.
- If the conductivity bar shows the device is conducting, we can rule out any issues with the lead wire.
Test the wands:
- Connect the wands to the lead wire
- Start a treatment and touch the tips of the wands together. Hold the wand together for 10 to 15 second.
- If the conductivity bar shows the device is conducting, we can rule out any issues with the wands.
additional tips:
- We recommend using the Q-tip brand only and make sure the shaft is made out of cardboard. Q-tips that have a plastic shaft will not conduct.
- Cut the Q-tips to 1/4 inch in length
- Make sure you soak the cut Q-tips in the Infused conductive solution before you place them into the ends of the probes.
- Push the cotton tips down into the cotton-tip probe for a snug fit.
- Dip the tips into the Infused conductive solution to wet the Q-tips again, before starting your treatment.
- You can test touching the two q-tops together to see if there is conductivity.
Other factors that may affect conductivity are:
Dehydration : We recommend that you drink at least 3 cups of water, 30 minutes before you begin your treatment. You can also use the 7e RePlenish Conductive Spritzer to help improve dehydration.
Scar Tissue or Surgical Scars: Sometimes areas on the skin that have been compromised, may cause the loss of conductivity.
